I think what happens is that if you copy the URL from when you're looking at it as your wishlist (with all of the editing options and whatnot), that won't work for anyone else because it's specifically keyed to that user.

If you're looking at your wishlist, there's a column on the left had side that you can share your wishlist with others. In that column they should show a non-unique URL to the wishlist. That's what you need to post.
