The P!Online Fan Art Contest
P!Online – The world’s only known POWERS fan site is proud to announce the Fan Art Contest. This is the first event presented by P! and we’re excited to give POWERS fans the chance to show-off their artistic talents and possibly make off with ORIGINAL POWERS ART by Mike Avon Oeming!!!
You heard that right – ORIGINAL POWERS ART by Mike Oeming! Mr. Oeming, has generously furnished
P! with a cache of original POWERS art, expressly for use as awards for this contest. The art (on display later in the contest at P!) is a wide range of both ORIGINAL PAGES from the POWERS series and breakdowns/layouts for actual published pages. This is your chance to own a piece of series history as well as one-of-a-kind, never-before-seen material.
Qualifying
All you have to do to enter is send a piece of your original art, electronically to P!Online. We’ll post your submission(s) in our FanArt gallery (permanently), where it will be viewed by POWERS fans. The art must be at least POWERS themed, but not necessarily depicting characters from the series. Create your own characters, your own 1 page story, your own pin-up! Stick to the beaten trail and render Walker and Pilgrim, or expand the universe by drawing something of your own imagining – but remember, it must be POWERS related or themed.
Please note: All submissions must come from a valid and current email address.
The Winners & Voting
All winners, recipients of the ORIGINAL POWERS ART will be determined solely by fellow-fan balloting. Whatever entry receives the most votes in a given category wins! The categories are outlined below. After the submission deadline (04/30) closes, all final submissions will be posted to the P! FanArt gallery. Then, a call for balloting will be issued through the Jinxworld Message boards and the P! website. Balloting will be conducted for 1 week (05/08-05/12). Winners will be announced the following Monday, May 15th, 2006.
Awards: All awards will be mailed to winners at no cost. All winners will be asked to provide a current mailing address at the time of the announcement.

The submission parameters:- All art must be POWERS related.
- All submissions must be scanned and sent via email to: tdaniel06@yahoo.com
- Artists are encouraged to submit as many pieces as they’d like.
- All art must be original in nature; electronically manipulated or digitally enhanced art not of your own creation will not be accepted.
- Art can be black & white, color, pencil, charcoal, crayon, painted, blood, sweat and tears, sculpted, made out of macaroni, - in other words there are no limits to this aspect of the contest.
- Art will not be accepted via physical mail. Please don’t send any originals!
- All submissions will be posted to the P!Online Fan Art Gallery:
- All submissions currently in the gallery are open for voting with the exception of those of the site host (me).
