God help me, I just bought the domain name for a net community.
Now taking serious applications for female Internet Temple
Enforcer-Houris. Or, for the nostalgic, Filthy Assistants. Ha ha.
I couldn't find a name I liked that included the word "Temple",
sadly. I thought about FALLEN TEMPLE, or TEMPLE RUINS,
or even ORBITAL TEMPLE. But no. None of them worked. Too
showy, too awkward. Very sad. So I've gone for something
rather more basic. For a farily basic message board. Not a
huge portal, not a vasty and sprawling thing. A simple altar, for
the dissemination of The Starry Wisdom.
(Is "houris" the actual plural of "houri"? I must check.)
(I very nearly went for starrywisdom.net, but, you know,
too Lovecraftian.)
Not The WEF, as they say. Something smaller, simpler,
more benign, focussed. It'll never be as huge as the
WEF was. And that's a good thing. This is something
different.
Also, it's all about me and how fucking brilliant I am.
It'll be GREAT.
