That's wierd. He usually quiet about these things.Even when it sucks.
It does give me pause.Did he get especially fucked over or something?I don't know specifics.
Moore didn't want this movie made at all, then he was sent to script to read and hated what they did to a story that was very personal to him and told them
then Joel Silver misquoted him on the official website as loving it

Moore only said anything because at the Press Conference for the movie Joel Silver said that they had the full support of Alan Moore in doing this movie.

Joel Silver said that Alan Moore loved the script. Alan Moore said, "ummmm, no. I hate it actually. And I told you guys not to use my name to promote this movie" Internal fighting ensues, and Alan Moore leaves DC comics (again).
Respect for Alan Moore? I buy his comics, they're good. Otherwise, the guy is a complete fucking loony, and it means nothing if I "respect" him or not.
if Brian thought the Jinx movie was going to suck, or was being made without his involvement, i wouldn't see it and i'd think less of any fan of his that did
Did Moore ask readers to not see it? I thought he had just decided to separate himself from all involvement from any movies related to his work. Isn't this a very different situation then the one you describe?
