So I took the family to Walt Disney World and before we left we noticed our youngest pulling at his ears, watery/red eyes, and being grumpy. Having just had a double ear infection we thought it would be a good idea to take him to the pediatrician. He had an ear infection and bilateral eye infections so they prescribed an antibiotic and we went on our way.
On Saturday our oldest start getting real whiny and running a fever and coughing. On Sunday night I started feeling bad so Monday me and Jackson just stayed in our room. Tuesday Lincoln started feeling bad again, pulling at his ears and his eyes were real red and goopy.
So on Wednesday we drove home, LONGEST drive ever. We went from 85 degrees to 20 degrees when we arrived at our house at 1am. So today we took the boys to the pediatrician and Lincoln's ear infection didn't go away, it got worse, double again so they gave him a shot and will get another shot on Saturday - heavy duty antibiotics.
Jackson is on the mend.
I went to UTC because my doctor couldn't see me and I have a respiratory infection, sinus infection that caused pink eye (infection) so they wrote me four prescriptions. Two antibiotics, one decongestant, and ointment for my eye, which I have to apply three times a day!
I have a fever and haven't felt this bad since I had mono back in 95.
Honestly, we still had fun at WDW (between hacking up phlegm, blowing snot out of our noses, running a fever, and having a small appetite). How can you not right? The boys LOVED Mickey's Christmas Parade. We have a great picture of Lincoln jumping out of his stroller, arms wide, mouth open, HUGE grin.
Glad to be back. I'm sure non-issue for most, but you guys are still a second home for me.
