Has anyone taken Ambien? I took some for the first time last night, and not only did I get good night's sleep, but I had a nice trip as well. I was laying in bed watching the Larry Sanders Show on my laptop when all their faces started melting. Then I noticed I was in some kind of circus tent. That's when I knew I had to watch cartoons. Then I looked in the mirror and saw that my face was melting. That part wasn't so cool.
Then I don't remember the rest, but I'm pretty sure I had fun. I didn't even know the stuff could make you hallucinate. Nice mid-week surprise.

Not only did I have fucked up hallucinations that reminded me of doing mushrooms, but I also went out to one of the late night college dining places and danced on one of the tables. This was relayed to me two days after the fact because I had absolutely no recollection of even leaving the dorm that night. That's when I stopped taking it.

I've taken ambien for bouts of insomnia on and off for a few years. The key is to take it, and then get in bed. It acts fast. I've never had hallucinations thought. I think a more accurate description would be that it makes everything feel like a waking dream. I've never seen faces or walls melt.
