Now we can add the name of Sherry Leak to the growing list of eBay bans.
Sherry often works under the name raccoon-eyes. She uses the ebay name of coonic_studios and she is an official Marvel artist, have had her work inserted in the Marvel Masterpieces 3 trading card set.
She also worked on commissions and sold her original 1/1 artwork on eBay, now however she has been removed and is no longer a registered user.
Re: An eBay sketch artist banned. Your thoughts after this quick commercial.
Disney doesn't play when it comes down to protecting their intellectual properties so it'll be interesting to see just exactly how big of a dick the mouse house wants to be with this type of stuff as it pertains to Marvel.
Years ago if I remember correctly, they even sent a C&D to a little league team that had a disney character on it's uniform. Disney lawyers are no joke.
But then again it's probably to be expected as The Walt Disney Company is the one that keeps pushing to amend the copyright laws so that no one can touch their characters even though Walt died forever ago and those characters should have become public domain by now. Mind you more than half of Disney's classic money making shit is based off of other people's work that has passed into the public domain (Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, Snow White, Aladin, etc.) but they're fighting tooth and nail to stop their own stuff from ever becoming public domain. Kinda funny when you stop to think about it.

The ironicalness of Disneys position has not escaped the collective consciousness of the Benbo, I'm sure.

There was a local festival five or six years ago where they presented a Studio Ghibli retrospective. At the time, Disney held the rights to Princess Mononoke. Guess what the only movie was the festival wasn't allowed to screen.
