OFFICIAL EXISTENCE 2.0 Thread: Spencer & Salas, 5 page preview, DCBS Deal!
Well, I'm pretty excited to finally be allowed to show off some of the final pages from EXISTENCE 2.0, the new book by myself and Ron Salas, coming July 1st from Image Comics and Shadowline.
Some of you may have seen these pages before, with some slight changes and all that. We're rounding the home stretch on production of #1 and I couldn't be happier with how it's turning out. Ron is doing an amazing job, as are Steve and John (our colorist and letterer team)-- and of course, Tim really did awesome work on the cover. So here's the solicit and the first five pages plus cover for you, enjoy!

Self-absorbed physicist Sylvester Baladine finds his consciousness transferred into the body of the hitman who just killed him! Things don’t seem too bad until his daughter is kidnapped by the same people who "killed" him. Now, he's forced to dig up his past and solve his own murder…inadvertently making himself a target once more.
In other news, we have a big feature in May's PREVIEWS (we're an Image Spotlight book for the month), and keep your fingers crossed for us as we might have some HUGE news about the book on the horizon. More on all that shortly.

Curious....what happened with your original artist? I know this was sold to Image with Salas, but you had a guy drawing this before him. Or is that drama that does nto need to be told?

No, no drama, really. Just didn't work out. But Stephano (the original artist) was great, hopefully I'll get to work with him on something else someday.
