Mike Wieringo, RIP

Just got some very sad news. Mike Wieringo, artist for Spiderman, Flash, Tellos, countless other books, and creator of IMPULSE, died yesterday of a heart attack at 44. Unbelievably horrible news.

We'll miss you, Ringo.

That's absolutely horrible. 44 is way too young.

He'll certainly be missed, I was a big fan of his work.

.....He was one of my favorite artists. Even got a sketch from him in Baltimore and talked with him for awhile.

Oh my god, that's awful. What a shocking loss to the community. 'Ringo was by all accounts a great guy, and a phenomenol talent.
I remember the first time I saw his work, it was early in his Flash run with Waid, in an issue with Abra Cadabra. I was blown away by his work right then.
Damn, that's depressing.

Oh man. That's so sad. Such a talented guy, and he seems so darn nice.

He was the first artist that ever drew Krypto for me.

So great with kids and animals.
