Never listen to it... rather than never listened to it. A subtle but important difference.

Still need to get this record.

Playing with Dolls is my new favorite Slayer song. Hell this album is right up there with the best. It amazes me that they put such an amazing album together after all this time.

That's because Paul Bostaph didn't have to attempt to play in time with the rest of the band. The best thing about Diabolus was the club tour they did around the album's release, serving as a warmup tour for the big festivals. They played Bitter Peace and one other song on most dates, the rest was classic material. Even they knew it was a weak album.
