Re: Ray's DCU Megathread 19 of Earth-OOMPH - RISE!!!
Again rereading a lot of old Batman stuff for reasosn I can't determine
Read Harley Quinn one shot last night, there's one panel where after Batman makes a slight joke that he has this stupid smug look on his face that really sells it

Twas a good night. Got some comic reading done, the Phillies made the Dodgers look completely inept and now I have a slight glimmer of hope that they can beat the Yankees, managed to write for the first time in weeks and confirmed attending a Death Troopers signing on Saturday. I've seen the pictures of the other signings so far. The 501st has been showing up at all the tour stops. It's going to be madness but so much fun.

Next up: Seven Soldiers. I prefer to read this one mini at a time instead of in the publishing order.
Do you read the JLA Classified issues first? Is that considered part of the 7 Soldiers experience or just a prelude only barely tieing in?

My rankings for yesterday's books:
Dark Avengers- Only picked this up for the big reveal which left me uninspired except for the possibility of the
Spoiler:
Beyonder being back
D Azrael- better than I thought. Not sold on the art yet. C Brave and the Bold- I'm with Pat on this book. It should be a fun into into the DCU and it's characters sparkling with energy and even as a fan of Barry I was just taken with how lifeless it seemed. C+ BN Superman- not as great of an emotional payoff as BN Batman but still a lot of fun to see the Superman Family kicking zombie butt together. B Invinicible Iron Man- not the big payoff I was hoping for, seemed rather anti climactic to me but loved the last page and the Norman moments were great. B Dark Wolverine- I hope this series continues after Dark Reign comes to an end. It's just so good. B+ Amazing- Loving the art..it's a different style on Amazing that I'm used to and of course Kaine is the best. A
