Question about comics, page size, and stuff.

I want to draw a comic page. Like, on comic size paper, scan it, and shrink it down. Only problem is, I don't have any paper. So, how big is comic paper, so I can simulate it with photoshop and my tablet(I can probably find this out on my own), and my real question, how much do I shrink it down to get it regular comic sized?

    11x17 bleed with a 10x15 live area. It's shrunk 64%

But, really, it doesn't matter what size you actually draw the pages so long as when produced they are standard comic size (unless you want a different size)

Some artists draw on a 9x12 page, Darrow draws on paper that's the size of movie posters, Maus was drawn on copy paper.

How big is an actual comic page, so I can just use Image Size in photoshop? It's smaller than a sheet of printer paper.
