I need help on Guitar Hero 2

I'm playing guitar hero 2 with my family and friends and we are doing both co-op and competitve with 2 guitars and we can't figure out why player two is a LOT louder than player one. Any ideas? i've checked my audio levels in the game and everything is cool. Am i missing something? Or is this just how the game is set up? Thanks for any ideas you may have.

Depends on what your doing in Co-Op.

Certain songs have both Rythm and Lead guitar parts. Other songs one person plays Guitar the other plass Bass. Obviously one is gonna be harder than the other. Just depends on which one your choose.

Also...it lets you choose the difficulty before playing the song...make sure you guys are choosing the same difficulty levels

Yeah we're doing the same level difficulty and we've been switching between first and second player and the second player is always louder. i can't figure it out.

Sounds like your choosing Lead Guitar as The Second player. When you choose the song it lets you choose which player plays lead and witch player plays rythim. One is going to be louder than the other.

Same for songs that make you choose Guitar and Bass.

Okay i get what you're saying and i'll give that a shot. But you're also saying that there is NO way to get them to be the same volume, is that right? Just because, one player you can hear great, the second, you can barley hear at all. Either way thanks for the tips. i really appreciate it.

Correct...cause that's the way it is in actual music. Also in the case of Guitar and Bass....Bass sounds 100% different than Guitar. So it's possable you may be hearing it fine...but you think your not cause your listening for a regular guitar noise.

This depends a lot on how well your audio system produces bass. Whoever is playing the Bass Guitar part is going to have a hard time hearing themselves if you can't clearly hear the baselines.

For example on my system which is 5.1 with a subwoofer, you can hear the bass pretty good. But on my friends TV speakers, it's hard to hear the bass lines.
OG Benboer right here. Circa late '98 bitches! Don't even try and bring that weak ass 21st Century bullshit.
