Without the Holocaust I wouldn't be able to make my German boss feel guilty wth things like, "I was going to go visit my relatives in Europe on my vacation, but then I realized I don't have any relatives in Europe. Thanks."

So is Ellis' Ultimate trilogy essentially a stand alone series ? Or do they tie into the Ultimates or UXM? I haven't read the Nightmare trade yet, and was just gonna wait for the trades on the other two, but I was wondering if they tie into current stortylines in any Ultimate book?
