You never can get wrong with the Goulash. Jaeger schnitzel looks good or the Cordon BLue.
And sauercraut!
And Black forest caker for dessert.
I am going out with my entire family to a German food joint tonight and I want to get something great to eat.
Here is the menu. I am willing to try anything when it comes to food. I like german/polish/czech sausage, but I kind of want some other type of dish. I know there are some worldly folk on here, so any and all suggestions are greatly appreciated!

Despite the name, neither leber (liver) nor käse (cheese) are in it.![]()

Thanks guys!
get the jaeger schnitzel w/ mushrooms. I lived in Germany for about a year and a half and tried everything but this is the one it eventually comes down to. The best food ever!

One thing you be sure of about German dishes. There will be some kind of meat in it.![]()
Sites that may or may not interest you..
Goulash is Hungarian.
Sauerkraut is not eaten or loved by every German.
Try Schweinebraten or Kassler or as mentioned above, steak with mushrooms.
If they have meat from game like Bambi's daddy or a wild boar, try that with Apfelrotkohl (red coleslaw with apple).
