i can't read them anymore without the movie's interpretations creeping in
    and that sucks
I really feel for you, because that would have ruined the comics for me. Luckily, I can keep the comic and movie vibes separate.

Also, I'm really sad that Mignola isn't going to be drawing Hellboy for a while, but at least it will be put out faster...maybe...

    But yeah- Mignola's fantastic.
Man, a copy of this came into my store last month. I've been looking for it for like three years. And my bastard co-worker claimed it. So I waited until he went home, bought it, and said I sold it by mistake. And it was worth it.

And yeah, Mignola's my absolute favourite artist ever. I miss him drawing Hellboy.

Some of the greatest image composition ever.
And Pancakes is the funniest 2 pages in comics history.
I wish Mignola was my dad.

I think his covers are some of the most striking, from a design standpoint, second only to Mike Kaluta's.

Is he drawing much anymore? It'd be a shame if his success, or the success of his creations kept him away from the drawing board.
Last thing I heard on the interweb (from his own forum) was he was quite content at the moment just doing covers, pin-ups and spot illos for a while while he writes books.

There's also rumors abound that he's working on a mini-series not related to the Hellboy Universe. Just a story.

So, until he actually announces a project, no one really knows, except for Oeming ... cause he's buds with Mike and can call and find out, but he won't tell us because he's cruel.
