I think the word you're looking for is "schtick." I can't even attempt to pronounce "stchik" but I sprained my tongue trying.
One thing i have noticed about the industry is that every creator has their own schtick. bendis- spiderman/wolverine/dd/cage in like every fucking book. david? well okay maybe david doesn't have one.
miller? batman/Daredevil
But take a look at the last 4 books that mike has done (excluding powers) and see if you can find the theme.
Thor
Don Quixote
Six
86 voltz (totally freaking awsome by the way)
and the reoccuring theme is what? oh yea...alternate realities.....
is this now mike's little schtick? like his little thing that (excluding powers) every book he touches deals with alternate realities?
hmmm....
Tessana!?

"I'll try to get you laid, it's the least I can do. But I'm not a miracle worker!" - BENDIS! to ItsDLEVY via podcast.

alrighty then...
There are a few ways to spell schtick, but none are how you put it.
1. shtick
2. schtick
3. shtik
Oh and, Mike LOVES mythology. So that is a reoccuring theme.

ok ok ok ...sorry! i went back and fixed it!
Shannon- as far as the mythology goes- yea quioxte and thor fall under that....but six and 86 (ok typing that felt really weird) really don't fall under mythology...unless its some mythos that no one knows about....
but knowing mike....

Well SIX and 86 are more like fantasy, all from the minds of folks like Bryan Glass. Who speaking of him, should be posting here.

I thought you were going to say the number six?
