So my old bank account still has a bit of money in it, fifty dollars or so, and I've transferred all my auto payments to my new account, here in my new state.
I think I'm going to purchase some trades.
Things I'm thinking about:
The Complete Maus
Thor Walt Simonson Visionaries, vol. 1
The Saga of Beta Ray Bill
Loki
Thor: Dissassembled
Astonishing X-Men OHC
Wolverine: Enemy of the State OHC
Legion of Superheroes: The Great Darkness Saga

So should I cut the blue wire, the red wire or the FIESTA WIRE?
It depends on what you like, but personally, I would like to check out the Neal Adams Hardcovers, with Batman, Green Arrow and Deadman stories. There pretty expensive, but Adams is a good artist. Maybe for our birthdays.
I found this one trade... it's a GA one... I think it was the first arc Meltzer did. Something about him having to go around and find all this stuff that Shade was supposed to grab when he died. He took Roy with him.
God I don't remember the name of that arc, but it was freaking good. Fatty Catman was in it and everything. If someone can help me with the name of this, I'd appreciate it. I still have it laying around somewhere.
But you should buy that. Good GA stuff.
Why do you still have signatures turned on?
That is called the Arrows Quest. It has an introduction by, of all people, Senator Patrick Lahey. Seriously.Originally Posted by Ryudo
Oops, sorry. I meant it's called the ARCHERS Quest.
The Complete Maus
One of the besy comic books ever.
Astonishing X-Men OHC
Pretty good X-Men comic, but the next one is better.
Wolverine: Enemy of the State OHC
My favorite X-men story since Morrison.
Lots of great fun action.
Legion of Superheroes: The Great Darkness Saga
This is a decent comic book, but if you're patient, you should be able to find it somewhere for a really good deal ($5 or so.)
Can't go wrong with the Millar Wolvie OHC
If we're getting into Green Arrow trades, you should buy the Quiver Hardcover too. Both stories are great.Originally Posted by Ryudo
