NBC picks up 'Heroes' for a full season
The first breakout new series of the season, NBC's drama "Heroes," has become the first freshman show to receive a full-season order. Meanwhile, ABC said its new comedy "Big Day" will premiere Nov. 28. NBC has given a back-nine order to "Heroes," from creator Tim Kring and NBC Universal TV Studio. " 'Heroes' has delivered exceptional ratings since its premiere, and we're even more impressed with the quality of the upcoming episodes," NBC Entertainment president Kevin Reilly said. "The best is yet to come over the course of a full season with this newest drama sensation." In its first two airings, "Heroes" has averaged 13.5 million viewers and a 5.7 rating/14 share among adults 18-49, ranking as the No. 1 new series among adults 18-49 (tied with ABC's "Brothers and Sisters"). I swear to God, Craig, I was incredibly excited for this show. But the pilot had such indescribably bad dialogue, such wooden acting, and such one-dimensional characters that I bailed right out. I'm obviously in the minority here. So good for everybody who likes this show.Originally Posted by CraigM
