Not a single reason I can think of to keep the previous games unless you have collecting OCD like I do.
Hi all,
I recently picked up new copies of Battlefront II and SOCOM III during a PS2 Greatest Hits sale. Now Blockbuster is offering a promotion for trading used games against Final Fantasy XII. I haven't had a chance to really play SOCOM III or Battlefront II yet, but was considering trading in my copies of the older games: SOCOM II and the original SW Battlefront.
Since the games have no real story to speak of, is there any value to keeping the older games that I am unaware of? (For the record, I have tried the single player campaign in SOCOM II and found it lacking.)
Thanks!
Shawn
I can develop that tendency, which is why I purposefully pull occasional purges like this oneOriginally Posted by YouStayClassy
Other suspects for termination include:
Ultimate Spider-man
Goblin Commander (hey, I got it for $10)
Midway Arcade Treasures 2
Call of Duty: United Offensive (a gift for my dad that he gave back to me)
King Kong (To think this was done by the same team from Beyond Good & Evil...)
I'll never believe the BG&E guys and gals did King Kong. It was just a trick to get all the "elite" video game fans to buy that marketing tie in....Originally Posted by Shawn_Kehoe
Yeah, it got some suprisingly high reviews too ... I found myself rushing through it, the end felt like a bit of a chore.Originally Posted by YouStayClassy
For any other Canadians out there, the specific deal Blockbuster is offering is trade
- any two 360 games OR
- any 4 GC, PS2, Xbox game, each of which sells for $15 used or more
to get any one of the following
FFXII for PS2
Zelda for Cube
Smackdown for PS2
Gears of War for 360

Possibly so. Ancel is designing the new Rayman though, so that might be a chance to cleanse the palette. Especially since some of the local stores are including it in their Wii bundles...Originally Posted by YouStayClassy
