You lucky bastard!!!
All I'll say is this:
It's like reading Frank Miller's comic while having a two-hour orgasm.
You lucky bastard!!!
Delirium: Have you ever spent days and days and days making up flavours of ice cream that no one's ever eaten before? Like chicken and telephone ice cream?.... Green mouse ice cream was the worst. I didn't like that at all.Mung Daal: We gotta get rid of this gum before Truffles sees it.
Shnitzel: Radda radda radda radda?
Mung Daal: No, we can't chuck him in the furnace.
Damn. That sounds pretty good.
Off Topic: Just wondering, did you get my email?
But damn, can't wait to see Sin City.

I hate you so much right now. I just found out we're not getting it in Ireland until June 3rd.

Yeah, there were like 40,000 people at the theatre. :P
It was a press screening (which means 3 rows saved for press and the rest of the theatre given to whoever comes across a free pass somehow).
It's around 2 hours long, tells 4 Sin City stories. The original book, That Yellow Bastard, The Big Fat Kill, and one of the shorts from one of the one shots. Sorry, can't remember off the top of my head which of the one-shot's. Anyway, that story is the one "guest-directed" by Tarantino. It's really obvious in the dialogue and delivery.
I could literally see the panels from the comic as I was watching the movie. There are so many shots that are identical to the books, it's kind of mind-blowing. Also, most of the voice-over and dialogue is straight from the books.
My buddy who went with me has never read the comics, but he said it was probably the most visceral movie he's ever seen and he really does see every movie that comes out. Even Mandy Moore movies.
