Now this is a movie I can't wait to see. It's already out and the trailer for the Second movie is floating around as well. I'm waiting to try and find it with Subs, but since it's a Warrner Brothers flick I'm hoping it will get a US release at least on DVD.

Deathnote has a huge following here, Cutey Honey, not so much.

Plus, have you ever seen any of Go Nagai's live action stuff? Nagai rules, but god damn, I think the worst thing I own is the live action Devilman or live action Kekko Kamen.

EDIT: There's also a Deathnote anime starting in Japan this week. So look out for that as well.

I try to get anything Devilman I can, so I had to get it. And ya know, it started off decent...But Sirene was in the film for about 2 minutes...and just looked fucking stupid. He kills Jinmen in 2 seconds, and has no "reunion" with his mother when he does it. In fact, it's some random friend we knew in high school. And then there's these 2 random kids that the plot pretty much follows after the halfway point.

Just fucking bad. Watch the OVAs over and over. 10 times better.
