Well Agent X definitely takes a huge dip in quality when Gail leaves, but she comes back and its just as amazing!
I love Mary Zero!
so im on a Deadpool kick right now, re-reading some old Deadpool stuff, like my Joe Kelley issues, especially Deadpool #11 where he goes into the Spider-Man universe, its fucking hilarious. I just picked up the 1-15 run on ebay of Agent X so im pretty excited about those.
Now is Cable / Deadpool funny in the beggining? or does it take a few arcs before hand?

Off hand, I don't recall if it was hilarious or not, but I do seem to recall rather enjoying it. I've enjoyed the whole series so far.Originally Posted by wholaughslast

I loved the Deadpool/Agent X stuff but I thought the first couple issues of Cable/Deadpool were awful so I dropped it. I kind of wish I hadn't though because I've been reading the Civil War tie ins and those have been just as good as the old stuff. Its been my understanding that the book picked up a few issues after I dropped it and has been solid since.Originally Posted by wholaughslast
Heh, I skipped out on the Simone-less issues. It makes the reading much more enjoyable.Originally Posted by skinnyrunaway

eh, never a big fan of Gail Simones work anyway, only thing semi-decent that i thought was Killer Princess. Never liked her Super-hero esque stuff
Shhh... be careful. She might be around here somewhere... watching...Originally Posted by wholaughslast

The first arc is slow, but it has it's moments. It gets really good from the second arc onwards though.Originally Posted by wholaughslast
Agent X Is only good under Simone.
Unfortunately, everyone else kinda ruins it, so even when she comes back its not as good.
Exactly. It's pretty zany, but it picks right up with the second arc.Originally Posted by Howlett
