he's not a completely awful actor though. he did a fine job in chasing amy, and was quite good in good will hunting, and changing lanes among other things. he's picked some shitty movies of late, yes, but it's not like he's paul walker or something...
I guess no one can take his Oscar away, regardless of what it was for.

Good for him. I don't think he's a bad actor just picked the wrong movies to do. But I just got home from seeing Hollywoodland and I liked it a lot and I thought that he was fantastic in it. I see him as a contender for the Oscars, maybe in supporting because Brody was the main character of the film.
