well, the Ray thing was out of line, I'll admit, so it was edited out
though it's nothing worse than you'd find in a heated political thread, which this wasn't, so it is gone

I don't think Blandy or Ray would consider what you said about them to be "slip ups".
Don't get me wrong - you KNOW I take shots as well. But be a man and admit it. And if you're gonna dish it out, then don't be such a narc next time you have to take it yourself.
Actually, the line is there now, though not the exact wording.
back when Joey Q first became EIC at marvel, he was making a real effort to patch up hard feels with Moore, so he told Moore he now owned the stories (not the characters or situations or any of that, just the sequence of events in the plot) to the Captain Britain stories he had writen in the late 70s/ early 80s for publication in Britian.
Moore said GREAT!, just put a little note in the openning small print of legalese that nobody reads at the start of the book saying events and plots are owned by Alan Moore and Alan Davis

but for what ever reason, the line didn't get put in and the one request Moore had didn't happen (Moore actually wrote a wonderful little rant about having to trek all the to his local comic store to buy his comic because marvel never shipped comp copies to him, only to find his one request was ignored and he had to find it out himself while standing in front of the New Comics Rack in some shop in Northhampton)
Joe publically responded with all appologies and saying it someone's stupid clerical error and that person was now fired, and that people were free to request some kind of sticker to put on the inside of the book, correcting the missprinted small block of text that nobody reads, and that future printing would be correct (i don't believe there was another printing, but i could be wrong)

Potential drama alert!
Concerning a previous thread made about me: I may have been slightly heated at the time, but that's all cooled off now. Still, if anyone is going to make a thread about my personal life other than me, I'd rather it at least be by someone that I've actually talked about it with on a somewhat regular basis.
Unless there's another "slip-up" Jim is referring to that I don't know about.

well now if you're talking about what i think you're talking about, it's because a poster crossed a line that i established with a mod more than a year ago
the mod agreed with me, and now it's no longer an issue
i'm exceptionally good at taking my medicine here, i doubt i'd still be here if i wasn't, that person is gone because they openly, unfairly, and horribly attacked another person because of their connection with me
but besides this, i think you (and others) are missinterpreting the Blandy thing and my intentions behind it
i was given incorrect information from another board member and just wanted to see some bride's maids
