Wikipedia is just too far gone when there is a lengthy entry specifically for Siler:

"He is somewhat accident prone however and can often be seen in the SGC's infirmary being treated for various wounds such as burns from exploding conduits..."

    And this explains a lot:

"He is also the stunt coordinator and Richard Dean Anderson's stunt double on the same series. He previously served as Anderson's stand-in on MacGyver."

That's from the actor's Wiki page, not the Siler one...!

on the super power arm band episode O'niel knocked siler over a railing down the stairs and putting him into the infirmary.

that scene is even more funny now that i have learned about the stunt double stuff.

I am currently re-watching all my Stargate DVDs. My 5-year-old daughter expressed an interest in the series (!?!), so I've been slowly watching them with her. We are currently on the season 4 finale, and she still actually seems interested. I'm looking forward to watching the rest of the series with her. We should have season 10 on DVD sometime next year, I would think.

that is another reason the show will be missed it is pretty family friendly.

sure there are a few intense moments but nothing too graphic.

i am really curious what they plan on doing to fill the void. i dont think sci fi channel will go w/out two stargate shows for long.

here is a message from Michael Shanks over on his website http://www.michaelshanks-online.com/news/index.shtml :

This just in from Michael's publicist:

Can you please post this on MSOL from Michael regarding the news of Stargate's cancellation:

"Unfortunately, all good things must come to an end. But I look at it as the closing of a chapter, not the whole story."
