WOW! Boy, did CIVIL WAR help give SHE-HULK a boost!
According to ICV2.com, the combined sales/orders of SHE-HULK #8's 1st and 2nd printings come out to about 58,000 copies!
For a book about a 3rd tier character? That's awesome!
And the post Civil War "bump" is doing great too, with SHE-HULK #9 coming out to around 29,900 copies! Not bad!
Here's hoping we can keep those new readers around with our quirky li'l book!
Thank you, Mr. Millar! You the man!

For those interested icv2.com has the sales for issue 7 at 26,561.
That is a rise of about 12.5 percent. Thats pretty damn good.
I would say at this stage the chances of She-Hulk either ending up on an Avengers team or the FF are pretty good, so hopefully that would give sales a bump too.
That's great news. And, #10 is getting talked about on the CBR forum as an unofficial CW tie-in, so that'll be a little extra incentive for CW readers, who may've picked up #9, to stick around longer - and of course, every extra issue they read is one more reason to keep reading.
So, Civil War now has a delay the size of the grand canyon between September and November. I'm just wondering if She Hulk will be affected by it. Will you still be going ahead with your Planet Without a Hulk story Dan, or will that be delayed because there are elements that give away the CW ending? You see, this is the part of the delay that Brevoort isn't telling anyone about. What happens to the titles like Ms. Marvel and She Hulk that aren't going to have tie ins, but delve into post Civil War events starting in November? Will they be delayed as well, or will we be saddled with filler tie in stories that have nothing to do with the title's current arc at all?
See, it's not quite as cut and dried as the editors are making it out to be.
between the cw issue and the spidey in court page that aicn posted with your interview, I think I need to start getting this book.
you should start getting the book! #8 is a good jumping point, bobillo's 2nd print cover is great and you'll get your CW fix.Originally Posted by dimeshop
Great to hear! And I've gotta say that as much as I don't like the way CW is being handled it's a true test of the writers on the books. In She-Hulk Jen has presented an angle on it that makes a lot of sense. It's just a cherry on top that it's getting more folks to check out the book. With the delays maybe folks that'd have lost their buzz over issue 8 or 10 might see 11 on the shelf and say,"I really should get that, and there's an empty spot on my list for a while.."
Plus the delay gives Dan more time to rewrite his scripts for the new projectRemember your lessons, Dan, stay hungry!

Dan, given the role Civil War played in other She-Hulk issues, why was #8 the only title marketed as a CW tie-in? Of course, CW was very kind to She-Hulk but hey, She-Hulk could have used a bit more of a bump.![]()
