Loved it but i also read and bought the HC. It must have been maddening to read the singles.
I don't understand why some people hated it.Sure following it with the single issues would have been a pain, but after reading it for the first time altogether in hardcover,I frigging loved it.
The concept is pretty original and fresh for a superhero comic.

I really dug it, but I bought the HC and didn't read it in single issue form. That probably does make a difference.
Bendis' stuff doesn't read as well in singles issues, but in a trade, this mini kicked ass. The art is great. The story is dark. It's completely original.
I still want to know about the new Goblin that came out of it.
It really was.Originally Posted by Vonn Hennigar

it plants a lot of the seeds for Civil War and the Super Hero Registration Act.

A lot of neat little things were in Fury's files at the end of each ish. Didn't enjoy the one-shot "From the Secret Files of Nick Fury" though. Wasn't as good.Originally Posted by greg donovan
Quite maddening to read in single form. I really should go back and read the whole thing again. It's almost guaranteed to be quite better.
Spoiler:
The only way it was "maddening" to read it in single form is if that was the ONLY book you were reading.
And I highly doubt that.
The lateness didn't bother me at all. It came out when it came out, I loved it when it did. Barely missed it when it didn't. I have a good memory, so I always remembered what happened the issue before.
Didn't bother me at all.
