Wizard World Chicago Cheap Motel Room Available

Hey guys, Brian and I will not be going to Chicago this year due to a billion other things going on. We have reservations for Motel 666 that's just down the street. I highly doubt they have any more rooms available by now. It's a smoking room with queen bed. They renovated the rooms exactly a year ago so I think they're much nicer than what I put up with last year. This is the cheapest motel within a mile of the convention, and it is right next to a Denny's.

I need to cancel these reservations before I think 5am est tomorrow. We can put a different name on the room, but the money has to come from my credit card they have on file for it, so I'd have to take paypal or something. My paypal account accepts credit cards. If interested, or know anyone interested, please email me ASAP or call me at 734-624-8353.

James Patrick (posted below) is interested in sharing the room if anyone would like to do that instead.

Michelle, I am so sorry that you guys aren't going. You should rethink that and come just to hang out. Jeffery is so bummed! Hand out some business cards and have fun!

How much is the room and how far from the con is it?

it's not that far. Noble and Kari stayed there last year as well. I think a few miles.

It is a .6 mile from the convention, and $300 total for Thurs-Sunday night. Check-in is Thursday 5pm I think, checkout is noon on Monday. Less total if you stay less nights.

Motel 6 reservations say that there are no rooms left for the motel. I called the Motel just now and they confirm that I can place the room in another name.

I will not be at the computer for a bit so please call the above number if anyone has questions or would like the room. I believe that I will still be charged on my credit card for the room if I put it under another name, but I can take paypal credit card payments.

$300? Wow, when I stayed there back in 2000, it cost $150 total.

You were much lucky then, because I paid about $300 last year for the same kind of room.

Remember too, that this is for 4 nights. We were driving home to Detroit on Monday.

Me and my crew stayed there a couple times for WWC and for AnimeCentral. Nice digs for a cheap rented bedsit, plus there's a quick-shop and a Denny's within walking distance.
