Man, theater jobs suck. When I was in HS I had a job at a UA theater in Marina del Rey. Started as a concession stand worker (absolutely the worst... everything I owned smelled like popcorn-grease) then got to be an usher, which wasn't as bad but still sucked because all you did was clean up other people's messes... in the theaters, in the bathrooms, in the lobby... ugh.
As far as I could tell, the only good job in the theater was projectionist.

At my theatre a girl wished I would die a horrible horrible death (posted it on her myspace page) because I corrected her. She's no longer there. But you should have seen her face when I confronted her about it!!! It was priceless!

You have my sympathies. I've done the whole supervising job before, I know what it's like. I hope it gets easier for you sooner rather than later.

small but growing very quickly! just 2 years ago when we opened, we were only the 2nd theatre.

One of my bestest friends in a projection manager. He's amazing at what he does and is the best around. and I mean, not just in our chain. He's fricking awesome. He actually used to work in california screening movies for execs and actors. And when the execs ask you to make sure that you are the one doing what they want, you know you are good.

I was joking with a friend of mine and told him that if I kept forgetting to eat like this that by the time I got home I'll lose 20 lbs! I don't remember his words exactly but it was something that made it sound like I could stand to lose it. I quickly made him correct himself! He's such a sweetheart/idiot , I couldn't help but make him feel badly.
