Something I've noticed about this board over the years

There seems to be more talented, motivated posters here than on any other board in the whole damned internet. I mean there must be at least 50+ people here who have made, are making, or are thinking about making a comic or graphic novel. I know there's a lot of boards out there where people talk about doing it, but we actually do go out there and create.

I wonder why we all congregate here? Is it because Bendis attracts that kind of fan? Or is it that people see that it can actually work, so they get the confidence to try their own? Or is it just the simple fact that we're all that damned Intensidad?

I think creativity breeds creativity. If you are surrounded with creative types, and you have even a little bit of a spark inside you, your company will inspire you to do it.

I think it's because of Bendis or because every board has his play cast, which is the reason why you stop at one board or on another one, you have retards, you've pseudo'intellectuals, you've nay-sayers, you've indie writers and fan-fic writers.

I think it's a little of both. Yes...it seems Bendis does bring the creative types to the board. It also helps that other big comic creaters hang out here from time to time, also. These are people, who started out independant and aworked their way up. We as a group see that...and see what they've done. I also think that once the ball got rolling...and people started noticing that others were making independant comics...and making some good comics on top of that...it inspired them...and creativity grew.


So to answer your question...yes.

yea, this is the only place I've seen a book pimped daily from the very starting stages of it. Or people calling themselves creators before they had actually created anything
