they should have put him in rikers with dd and the crew...that would have been funny as hell seeing whats going on there now
So I just read Civil War: Frontline #2, and for the first time, I feel for those Hal Jordan fans after he became Parallax.
So just because JoeQ doesn't like Speedball means that he should be written out of character, dragged through the mud, and destroyed. Thanks.
Also, the Guantamo stuff was a little much. I get it, they're trying to make analogies to the war on terror.

What makes you think Quesada really dislikes him? I thought it was quite a clever feint, get the fanboys wound up over his impending death, and then NOT KILL HIM.Originally Posted by SteveFlack

For everything Bendis did with Daredevil, I don't feel any of it was out of character. Now, everything Speedball did in Civil War#1? That was out of character.Originally Posted by NickT

What doesn't kill will only make him stronger!
God forbid anything ever happen to characters that people care about!
Well, the New Warriors were out of character. I mean, they took on Terrax, a former herald of Galactus, and they can't handle fucking Nitro?

It would be so great if Marvel would put the first 25 issues of the Fabian Nicienza / Mark Bagley New Warriors into one of the essential books. I bet that would really hold up well, and show what kind of character development can be done to Z list characters when a creator cares about them.
I wouldnt have had a problem with what happend in Civil War #1 if it didnt go against about 10 years of New Warriors continuity for them to act like douchebags and incompetants when taking down the villians holed up in the suburbs. If Millar wanted to use an inexperienced group he could have used a team like The Crew or even Slingers.
Enjoy the chlamydia Lucielle.
