The X-gene is a specific gene that, when slightly mutated from the norm, gives you blue fur, a tail, four fingers, two toes, and the ability to disappear and reappear somewhere else by travelling through a demonic dimension.

just tell them that mutaions do occur in people... and that they should move to connecticut to further control their ablilities
just tell them to run an assay and to shut up. Either that or do a DNA digestion and run the gel. That is what i used to do
