    San Diego Comicon Costs?

I want to go to the San Diego comicon again sometime (not sure when) and plan to start saving up right about now.

I plan on buying a minimal amount of things from there next time I go, but do plan on going out at night, and I'm not sure how much I should look to save up.

So, how much do you tend to spend? This would be including plane tickets, hotel, meals and nightlife.

$800-1000 seems about right. If you're lucky you won't spend it all but it's smart to have that much set aside.

I went on jetblue and the comicon.com thing to figure it all out. I came to around $1400 per person in total. But I can't go alone so I doubt that I'll pay that much. And that $1400 included okay hotels I would desperately go to, and food expenses too. I can't afford so I don't know if you would be able too.

I flew out on JetBlue non-stop, round trip from DC for $265.
Hotel can range from anywhere from $90-200 A night, depends on how close you want to get to the con, if you are willing to share a room, and how many nights you want to spend. You need to book your room several months in advance. Pat Lokia is the man to talk to about that
SD has good public transportation, so you don't need to rent a car...but if you do, it will run you @ $300 a week.
As far as the con itself, I found myself not spending as much as I thought I would. I went for two days, and only spent $150. I bought a lot directly from creators, which was nice. Mile High had all GN's for 30% off (bring a list of what you're looking for because it is all overwhelming). I could have easily dropped $500-$1,000. It seemed like I was the only person at the con without a light saber, and once you get into buying pages and original art, well, that can get pricey.
So, I'd say $1,500 minimum for a week in SD.
