    Re: Ask Slott...

    hey dan!
i wanna know if you could write for any dc comic what would it be?
a new character or book? or an exisiting?(i could see a danslott Green lantern corps..)

    also.
since hank pym is in the avengers acadamy. did you and Gage talk about his role and how he should be handled? since you have now built him up awesome as a even greater hero than before(marvel's own doctor who!)
the reason i ask is, we have seen pym now reestablished a few times and the next guy always seems to push him right back down the crapper .

like how bendis talks with people about luke cage and all his pets before they show up somewhere new.

I've worked for DC in the past on JUSTICE LEAGUE CLASSIFIED, ARKHAM ASYLUM: LIVING HELL, BATMAN ADVENTURES, SUPERMAN ADVENTURES, and JUSTICE LEAGUE ADVENTURES.

So I already got to play around with a number of my favorite DCU characters (Batman, Robin, Nightwing, Batgirl, Superman, Krypto, Flash, The Creeper, Plastic Man, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern (Stewart), The Atom, Martian Manhunter, the Batman Rogues, the Flash Rogues, The Superman Rogues, Chronos, Chemo, and a LOT of the New Gods).

Out of the guys I HAVEN'T gotten to play with?

I love Deadman! Boston Brand is AWESOME! Pitched a lot of Deadman stuff that didn't get picked up. Would KILL to do some Captain Marvel & the Marvel Family. Also have some crazy love for the silver age Doom Patrol. Never got to play with Mr. Miracle & Big Barda. I also like Firestorm, Blue Beetle (Ted Kord), Green Lantern (Jordan), Man-Bat, and some of the real oddball characters like The Metal Men, Metamorpho, Ultra: The Multi-Alien, and Space Ranger & Cryll.

When I pitched the Arkham Asylum book, I also pitched a book-- a 12 issue limited series-- with an all-new DCU character. DC liked it! If I hadn't sold Marvel on my SHE-HULK pitch, after my JLA:Classified story was done, there's a chance I could've moved onto that next. And there were a TON of Batman, Superman, and Green Lantern ELSEWORLDS projects I pitched & wanted to do. Like mad. And the Superman office really, really liked one of 'em! And Ryan Sook and I had a sequel planned for Arkham Asylum. But, honestly? I'm at Marvel-- I'm MUCH more of a Marvel Fan-- and I couldn't ask for better gigs than working on stuff like Spider-Man, Thing, Avengers, and She-Hulk.

But I think there is always something that makes you realize it's a Dan Slott book. Anyway, he can do amazing stories with any kind of character(s).

    Re: Ask Slott...

I'm new to the site, and only sought this as a direct plea to save Gargan from a fate worse than Leifield.... What reason could there possibley be to drive you so hard to make Gargan Scorpion again? He was great to read on dark Avengers. His mini was amazing.

He's so much better suited for bonding with the symbiote. He's a psycho with no issue eating people. No sence of skewed justice like Brock. Brock is definately a better character as Anti-Venom. With all he's been through, to finally see him not only maintaining his fearsome pressance, he gets to feel good about himself at the end of the day, but we have not even gotten to see enough of his new bag of tricks....

If you're really intent on shattering the bond with Gargan, can you PLEASE at least confirm you'll use Eddie as Anti-Venom? It's all I'm askin' for christmas. I loved your time on Inititive and New ways to die. I want to be excited for your run on ASM and I'm willing to compromise... Believe me when I say no one I know is looking forward to this change outside of people who can't let go of the 90's. (Just can't find a way to say that without it sounding offensive... Sorry.)

    Re: Ask Slott...

Dan, any plans for Julia Carpenter? Now that she's had a major status change, seemingly being pulled out of the Avengers arena and stuck firmly in Spidey's (which seems like an odd change to me), I'd be disappointed if we never get to see her again. She's the Spider-Woman a lot of us grew up with and -- as much as I enjoy your writing -- probably the only thing that could get me to buy a Spider-Man comic (well, I'm sure some other guest stars would as well, but she seems most likely).

Also, what does your Spider-gig mean in terms of the Reckoning War? Are you still planting seeds for it?

    Hey Dan, what's up?
In your opinion; is the current "Vengeance of the Moon Knight" better so far? Or the previous volume that ended is better?

Mr. Slott, thank you for your work on She-Hulk & looking forward to your turn on Amazing in the near future.

Since MJ & Peter marriage is no more (at least for the time being), would Peter ever go out w/ someone lean, green & Sensational (and no I am not talking about Green Goblin)?
