    The Adv. of Pete & Pete was an outstanding show

    I got the first two seasons on DVD for my birthday and I just got around to watching them today.

    I had forgotten how great this show was. Just the right combination of funny, absurd and touching. More people should know about it.

    It's a crying shame that the third season seems to be in limbo.

    Yeah, what's the deal with the third season being held up anyway? I don't think I heard a concrete reason.

    I think the reason was that the first and second seasons didn't sell too well... Which I find hard to belive since almost everyone I know owns them.

    That's frustrating. Maybe if Nick had spent some money on promotion, all of the people who remember this show but weren't aware it's out on DVD would have picked it up.

    One of the best shows ever. Twin Peaks for the pre-teen crowd. Only awesome.

    They sold good. From what I understand, all "old" Nickelodean product has been suspended for the time being due to the network changing hands, or some such nonsense.

    I find it ridiculous that they haven't released the 3rd season, considering the presentation of the first 2. How could they not make money considering the number of people who bought it and the overall crappy presentation of the video and packaging.

    Besides that though, Pete and Pete will always be one of my favorite tv shows. Everything clicked so well, and I can't wait to show it to my kids one day.
