FX has 'Dirt' on Cox for full season
FX has ordered a full season of the Courteney Cox drama pilot "Dirt." Thirteen hourlong episodes will be produced by Touchstone Television, FX and Touchstone-based Coquette, the production company Cox shares with husband David Arquette. "Dirt" is set in the world of tabloid magazines. Cox will star in "Dirt" and also executive produce with Arquette and Matthew Carnahan, who created the show as well as wrote and directed the pilot. Carnahan will be the showrunner for the series. FX Networks president John Landgraf has ordered some reshoots of the pilot in order to add more of Cox's character, a magazine editor.
