don't forget his work on Aeon Flux! he's got work in the upcoming anthology 24seven that was edited by Ivan Brandon. Canete has also done some of the most amazing covers for "NYC Mech."

The man is goddamn good. It's a shame he had to leave comics. He's slowly taking steps to re-enter the industry, and hopefully this time he won't be so fucking underappreciated.
He's worked on Majestic, Wildcats Annual: Ladytron, and Cybernary 2.0 for Wildstorm.
He also did some fill in Adventures Of Superman books.
Currently, he's a storyboard artist and designer and worked on a few shows like The Batman, and Justice League.

He just wasn't fast enough to justify a career in comics.
Man, I remember the time I got to interview him. Nicest fella you'll ever meet.

Anyone that draws Brainiac's skull ship is awesome in my book.
Amazing stuff!
Wait . . . too slow for comics but he's doing storyboarding?
Dude is definitly a great tallent. I'm gonn have to go mine his website.
EDIT: Oh I know this guy! Check out his Sonja! http://photos1.blogger.com/blogger/4...edsonja_UL.jpg
he's so awesome
I have a sketchbook he put out back when he was drawing stuff for Verotik, this is probably from '98, and he ruled back then too. His NYCMech covers are always fantastic.
If I won the lottery I would give him, Jason Pearson, and Dave Johnson a billion dollars to draw monthly comics
He's prepping a new book called "Obelisk" - looks great.
