Toss grenades from afar
I have to get the swoop bike accelerator, and I have to kill Kandon Ark and his bodyguards and they're just whupping my ass every time. Nothing I do helps. There's nothing else for me to do right now, so it's not like I can level up for awhile or anything.
Any ideas?

can you go to another planet for a bit to level up?
I just used a ton of Force Storm to kill everyone... but it sounds like I did that planet a little later than you did...
I'm on Taris, the first planet. I can't do anything else but this fight.

lets see....if this is the fight with just you and bastilla it's a run and fight kinda fight. If you can equip her or you with anything good do so. If you start to get too beat back out and heal. ....
If their is another guy with you keep him on long range with the gun he can shoot and if he's at a distance usually ppl don't attack him as much.
So equip whatever you got, heal often, pace the battle, and if you can use a long ranger, do it.
Is this KOTOR I or II?

Can you talk your way out of it? I don't remember any early tough fights from that game.
