BENDIS - Tell me about the Distillers....

You go on and on about how great they are. I've seen you wear their T-shirts and I've heard you based Ult. Dazzler on the lead singer....so....I'm gonna give them a listen. Which is their best album?

I'm no Bendis but:
The one mentioned in Powers Sing, Sing, Death House is my favorite, imo
and their first one is self titled and is still good.

Then she started going out with the lead Singer of Queens of the Stone Age, their sound changed, they're still pretty good. But not the punk when she was going out with the lead singer of Rancid.

I wonder what the band would sound like is she started banging Michael Bolton?

Sing Sing Death Horse is there best album.

But Coral Fang is a grower.

Not to nit pick, but she "went out with" the singer from QotSA while she was married to Tim from Rancid. I like SSDH, but I wont get anything else from them, same thing for QotSA, call it a fucked up sense of honor - bros before hos.

She sounds a little like a punk rock Courtney Love, and yes I understand that irony.

I love the Distillers. Both albums are great. Coral Fang was my favorite album to come out two years ago. It's a bit more melodic than Sing Sing Death House, which is also great by the way.

I agree with this 100%. I was just listening to Coral Fang yesterday in fact.
