No shit. I remember paying $40 for the Asteroids cartridge back in 1980. I had to mow lawns all fucking summer to buy that thing.

Yes it was, I remember opening that on Christmas morning.. What a wonderful day that was. I still have over 50 games for it and a working console, I break it out every once in a while.

I remember when IntelliVoice bombed at stores, and JC Penney was selling them for $10 each. They were originally $80. I talked my mom into buying it by telling her how much of a bargain it was. She was so proud her son was becoming a power shopper. They had B-17 Bomber and Bomb Squad for $8 each. EACH.
Oh man, Microsurgeon was THE game.
