No shit. I remember paying $40 for the Asteroids cartridge back in 1980. I had to mow lawns all fucking summer to buy that thing.
And some games for the Genesis cost upwards of $70 back in the late 90s!

I remember when IntelliVoice bombed at stores, and JC Penney was selling them for $10 each. They were originally $80. I talked my mom into buying it by telling her how much of a bargain it was.
