Hey Jack Handey, what's with all the deep thoughts?
Yeah I'm filling introspective or some other five dollar word today.
I sat down and thought about something last night, and it really got me thinking about how every day, dozens of times, we make small decisions that can effect everything. Even when you don't realize it.
If you decide you want to go to McDonald's for lunch instead of subway and you get t-boned in a car accident. Or if you go to wal mart instead of the gap and you meet the person of your dreams.
For instance...
back in 94 I stopped reading comics. I was fed up with them. Couldn't stand the sight of what was happening. So I walked away cold turkey.
Then in 97 I decided to check in, see what was up. Started buying a couple, then a couple more, you know how it goes. Soon I was working at a comic store. Then I ran my own, now out of this I met an artist who wanted to work on a comic but was shit for writing. So I wrote up a short story for him. Liked writing, and kept at it. Fast forward and I decide to create some comics, found some artists, asked if people here on the boards wanted to get together and do an anthology book, then founded Ronin Studios about four months later.
Now the point of all this is, if I hadn't decide on a whim to go pick up a comic book, I never would have worked at the comic store, met the artist, started writing, came to this board, or started Ronin. Think if Ronin wasn't around, how many people that would effect alone? I mean I'm sure they would be creating comics in their own right, but it's scary to think of what one seemingly innocent decision can snowball into.

I'm not sure. I might be sick or something.
From time to time I stop to think about things like that but I try not to dwell on it.
every minute of every day
Never really thought about it until recently, now I think about it all the time. Lots of what ifs.
I try not to think about that kind of stuff, it makes my head ache!!.
Seriously, everything has a major posibility of changing your own or anyone else´s life, but if you stop to think about every little thing that you are going to do, you will end up doing nothing because a lot of the elements in the "equation" that you can´t calculate.

"You're the only one I want. I've never heard your name. Let's hope we meet someday, if we don't it's all the same. I'll meet the ones between us and be thinking about you. And all the places I have seen and why you were not there"
