absolutely not. though I wish she did like the same entertainment as me (we're almost on the same page with movies fortunately) it has no bearing on my relationship. we both have diff entertainment interests and respect eachother's preferences.

When Noble and I first met 16 long years ago...we were completely from different worlds (I lived on a farm, he was a "city" boy). I had been to see a movie in a theatre 1 time, thats right people 1 time. I had no intrest in reading books or comics. our music taste....well for arguments sake, its basically all we had in common. He enjoyed gory movies and all that entailed to make them. I just enjoyed real gore (still do). As the years have gone by, I have found sharing these diferances has been what has made our lives a whole lot more fun. I have now been to the theatre more times than I can count. read some comics. watched shows I would of not normally of watched. .....and Noble has bottle fed a cow.

My girlfriend and I aren't on the same page for everything nerdy.

I'm Star Wars, she's Lord of the Rings. But we make it work, and we both try out each other's hobbies. She even started reading manga because I convinced her it wasn't all like Naruto.

ok i am not more lotr then star wars. harrison ford just doesn't do it for me....yes solo kicks ass...but as far as star wars goes i love me some obiwan.
