    Thor Blood Oath HC

So as a dedicated Trade/HC Reader i picked up my books today at the LCS and may i say i'm quite looking forward to reading this book. Highly enjoyed the Final Thor Arc in Disassembled and have a soft spot in my heart for Simonsonesque Thor adventures so this should be a good one. I'll be back tomorrow with a Mini-Review.

Now that was a Fun Read. First i have to give props to Scott Kolins work on this book, absolutely great stuff throughout but special attention to the colorists. I'm not familiar with Wil Quintana or A.Crossley but this book just beamed off the page, I'll be checking the credit boxes for their names in the future. As for the book itself i loved the opening battle with The Absorbing Man and Thor's and The Warrior's Three Quest for the Magical Items was fun especially Volstagg and Fandral's Verbal jousting. My one minor complaint was that the book felt rushed to conclusion in terms of wrapping the story up in the final issue, A 7th Issue would not have been out of place here. Still if you have ANY love at all for Thor this is one book to pick up. One of the True overlooked Gems of 2005. Highly Recommended 8.5/10

Now please Mike convince Joey Da Q to bring back Thor, We need our regular Thor fix.

I freaking LOVED this mini. In my opinion, nobody else by Mike should be allowed to relaunch Thor. I loved his Disassembled arc, and flipped out over Stormbreaker (some fantastic action sequences).

Vonn, thanks, Im glad you liked! The fight with Absorbing man was actually a retelling of an earlier Thor issue!

Just picked this up on a whim at the local Barnes & Noble, and I have to say that all my expectations were exceeded. Oeming's writing of Thor and the Warriors Three was spot-on, and had me laughing at loud. Kolins' artwork is some of his finest I have ever seen, at par with his Flash and Avengers' runs. Really looking forward to picking up more of Oeming's work, especially Thor: Ragnarok, and the Beta Ray Bill series.
"There's a great play called 'Humulus The Mute' written by these two French authors, and it's about a dumb boy who is granted a wish that he can say one word every year -- and he falls in love with a girl he sees riding a bicycle. At the end of the play, he saves up his words for years not saying anything at all, then blurts out 'I love you, will you marry me?' and the punch-line is that she's deaf, which I find quite funny."
