has this ever worked out for anyone or are all net relationships doomed from the get go? cuz i think some girl i met online just broke my heart and i'm not sure that that can happen when youve never met face to face. weird

2 of my best friends met girls through the net.
One of them just broke up with the girl after being together for 3 years.
The other is now married and just had a baby a few months back...
So, i guess it's all up to the people involved.
