I think it looks too blurry, it's too early to get the photo off and leave only the lineart from it....

you should try a little more with the photoshop filters, I tryed few thing ans here's what I came up with:
poster adge and graphic pen:

just graphic pen:

film grain:

and after the film grain I pushed on the darkest section with the magic wand tool set on contiguos (that way it rounds up the lineart from the photo and here is what came out:

the photoshop has other options too you just need to look around

sure I'll tell you
first I went in the poster edge filter:

and the I played a little with the options

as you see I put it like that edge tick.. 2, edge intens.. 1 and posterization 2

then I went to graphic pen:

and then I played with the options again 'till it started looking like I wanted it:

and that's it no more no less

go and try it you'll see it's very easy

Thank you Alex and Drazen for all the information. I'm discovering a lot of new ways in using filters. I like very much the Darzen's interpretation of mine!
