I remember i saw this interview with Stan Lee talking about when he was going to quit marvel in the early 60's because all he got to write at the time (post-Seduction of The Innocent, pre-Silver Age) were monsters like Fing Fang Foom. Then his publisher told him to try a Superhero comic because DC was having a lot of success with JLA. His wife said if he was going to quit anyways, he might as well write the type of thing he always wanted to and he came up with The Fantastic Four.
Based on that, I have a feeling that Stan Lee would take some joy in the great success of a tounge-in-cheek Marvel comic where superheroes fight Fing Fang Foom.
Mine is better. The blurb at the bottom was going to be more crass, but... I'm trying not to get banned.
