    Sea of Red

    Anybody read this?
I loved it. I'm just so glad to see different kinds of stories told and Pirate tales are well suited to comics. Through in the supernatural element and I think they have a winner here.
Well written and the art really services the story .

I picked it up. 8/10. I'm going to stick with it. I thought there were a few odd dialogue moments but overall it was good work.

Yeah this was awesome! My site's review column had nothing but good things to say about it too.

It took a few pages for me to get into it, but I ended up liking it quite a bit. By the way, is this an ongoing or a limited?

Loved it. Favorite comic of the week. The art and color palet complimented the story perfect.

Here is what I had to say in the bought/thought thread:

Sea of Red #1 -- Would probably not have checked this out if not for the board here. The art was simply amazing, and the darker crimson shading to the panels gave it a visually arresting look. The tale was engaging, but there were a couple of panels where I was a bit confused by who was saying what and why (word balloons seemed off, but it could have been me)

It was pretty fun and a good first issue. I'd give it a B-.

I really liked the look of the book. The coloring scheme and design really gave it an extra edge of cool creepiness.

I finally read this, and I think I like it quite a bit. A little weird, but I like weird, and I wanna see how it goes.
