Ok, just as a side note, I've got probably the perfect example of why message board posting can be such a horrible thing and totally get why artists don't listen to many of the criticisms of their work.
Someone posted this very well thought-out critique on another design message board about my card. I'm all for critique, and have as thick a skin and as open a mind about my work as a person can have. I just hate these types of responses, and take them for what they are. Shallow, cruel, thoughtless and useless:
Awful composition. Terrible illustration. Stick to your day job...
I like that they didn't say it wasn't funny. Sheesh. It's a greeting card, not an attempt at a career defining piece.
