Walter -- do you have any original Iron Man art? Many months ago I posted stuff -- though no one replied! -- that it would be interesting to see an Iron Man who was a horror figure -- who was just awful to look at. There were lots of reasons why -- a lot had to do with dealing with he horror of technology -- but anyway, Gabrielle actually has a version of Iron Man that's kind of going in that direction...

I've never really taken an honest stab at seriously painting Iron Man. I think one of the reasons is that to me Adi Granov has pretty much made the definitive look of the character, and I'm not sure what I would want to, or could bring to the table that would improve him. Although if I was going to try and make a horror version of him, I might strip away all of the polish of the armor and show all of the exposed wires and circuitry underneath. You know, all asymmetrical with sparks flying, electrical current pulsing thru the circuits like the armor was barely holding itself together and had no business still functioning... but somehow it does. As if Tony Stark was a madman who didn't care what the suit looked like, only that it embodied sheer power and destruction.
